The summer of 2020 will offer the possibility of listening to the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra live in Berlin and Salzburg, however, audiences from all over the world can also join broadcasts on radio, television and internet of live and archive performances.

Salzburg Festival 2020

The orchestra and Maestro Barenboim are guests at the modified centennial season of the Salzburg Festival. The program features Wagner's Siegfried Idyll, Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony, Boulez's Mémoriale with Emmanuel Pahud as solo flute, and Beethoven's Große Fuge (Version for string orchestra).

    In 2020, the BBC is broadcasting the best of four decades of BBC Proms concerts. The series includes the memorable 2016 concert with Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich performing Piano Concerto No. 1 by Liszt, as well as Jörg Widmann's Con Brio, and excerpts of Wagner's Tannhäuser, Götterdämmerung and The Mastersingers of Nuremberg.
